Sorry… last comment, I promise. 🙂

This post was read in email form as well, but I’m just now getting around to commenting.

I clicked on the Amazon link to Norton’s book, which led me to reading her bio there. Intrigued (because that bio said she lives in Santa Fe part of the year— my favorite place I’ve never visited), I went down a rabbit hole of finding out more about her, which led me to some videos of interviews she gave.

I didn’t get to watch the entire interview, but one in particular that I started had something about seven minutes in that I liked… and thought you might also like.

She said, “I don’t think we can have any story that’s part of our lives that isn’t somehow part of a whole.”

Perhaps she said something similar in the book. But in case not, I thought you would like and agree with that idea… and it might even play into your writing of your own memoir (which, by the way, is super cool that you’re considering doing!).

I don’t recall the person’s name who was interviewing her, but I could search my YouTube viewing history if you are interested in watching the entire interview.
