Thanks, Matt. I've bought several of Mark Samuel's novels, and I was saddened to hear of his recent passing.

It doesn't surprise me to learn that you are a reader of Mark's work. Yes, his death was a sad event. And so unexpected! A real bolt from the blue.

Thanks Matt: I haven't read any of Mark's work (although I was aware of him), but you have very much persuaded me to dive into it. Saddened to hear of his death.

This makes me feel a sense of "mission accomplished." Thank you for letting me know, Matt. FYI and FWIW, if you're looking for places to dive into Mark's oeuvre, I suggest his first book, The White Hands and Other Weird Tales, or his best-of collection, The Age of Decayed Futurity. Honestly, Charnel Glamour wouldn't be a terrible starting point in itself, but the other two might ultimately be the most suitable for a good entry.

I live in Finland so it's not always easy to order the books I want, but 'The Aged of Decayed Futurity' is available on the local online bookselling service so I will pick it up, cheers for the recommendation!
