Thanks for this. I'm currently reading Fourth Wall Phantoms by Joshua Cutchin (great read!), and I'm in the same state. Cosmic egg blown open.

This is the second time in two days that Cutchin's book has been recommended to me. I need to look it up.

You should. It's mind-blowing. In the good sense!

I’m with you. These are some truly astonishing times as it relates to disclosure — not just UAP but all sorts of until-now only rumored psi phenomena. And…no one around me seems to notice, care, or believe. 🤣 Still…

You’ve made me think of my favorite Mary Oliver words… perhaps some of my favorite words of any poet or writer ever…

“Instructions for living a life:

Pay attention.

Be astonished.

Tell about it.”

Space the final frontier- solution to Global control. Ronald Reagan speaking to the world about the threat to humanity from space would solve regional conflicts & competitions to rally all to counter the “invaders”. So like “gods” even if they are not real someone will just’make them up’ the ends justify the means.

Ahhh yes... the subtle screw of manipulation steadily turns. Unfortunately for those driving this contrived confusion, truth is upon us and you can't stop it. Clarity is resolving in spite of this drivel you peddle.

The light is casting long shadows as the cock prepares your feast of crow.

This crow will be served chilled in the diminishing shade you throw.

All will be jerked from slumber by the shrill of what I know.

I had a close encounter at age 17. It was the beginning of the opening my mind to the larger realm of wonder that you speak of.

Social conditioning via a flooded field.

Catching the egg with controlled deceleration and then blowing it open.

I sense myself being managed and am astounded by the efficiency of it.

I feel as if I am standing within my sphere, pointing up while those around me are immune to my declarations of the obvious. I expected others to awaken as disclosure is foisted upon us and I stand amazed by the collective lack of amazement.

Reading this piece helps to know that I am not the only one awake at the slumber party!

Thank you Matt

Death by Astonishment, or the Death of Astonishment... Terrence McKenna was certainly right that things were going to get a lot weirder, but maybe they've just gotten too weird to handle... I think you're correct to point everyone back to the weirdest thing possible, which is the ongoing moment, the always and already of our conscious mystery. I'm continually struck as well by how unimpressed the world is with this information. Martel and Ford had some good riffs about this on their Jung/UFO episode. Wonder if anyone would even believe Trump if he tried to make the announcement...

No, they won't until they must, until their eyes are forced open a la Clockwork Orange. Slumber is the new awakening and truth is but a soothing lullaby.

Within this loud and crowded darkness, lies masquerade as light.

Performed in the voice of Weird Al Yankovic to the melody of "Wish you were here"--

Close your eyes and drift away

Run off in your dreams to pray

Succumb to darker shades of gray

Ignore the fools and what they say

As they proclaim lighter shades of gray

Simply close your eyes to find the day

The nature of pop-art it seems

Lies within a peasants dreams

Close your eyes and seek the masterpeace

Hot air for a cool breeze? Cold comfort for change?

Did you exchange A walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?"

Reading this, I was reminded of an article called 'What Is It We Fear in Visitors from Space? That They Might Be Like Us?' written many years ago by an obscure Zen master who lived in Connecticut. I think you might enjoy it: https://selfdefinition.org/pulyan/writings/why-fear-visitors-outer-space.htm

Love this! Thank you, Luka. I'm actually quite familiar with Pulyan, having read, for example, Letters of Transmission, the book of his letters on enlightenment to Richard Rose that was edited together by Bart Marshall. I highly recommend it. But I was unaware of his piece on extraterrestrials. I can see why my post called it to mind.
